Uncle I I comes to visit

Aaron drove up to see the BSU/BYU game with a friend. We met at Red Robin, where engrossed in conversation did not notice Liam pouring multiple sugar packets on his grilled cheese. Cassia began copying him with the salt and pepper, to whoever had to clean our table I am sorry.

I told Aaron about how yesterday I dropped Liam off for school and he said "see you later, chicken fries!" before slamming the door. Also about his teddy bear that he named "farty bear". Aaron in return showed us pictures of his Alaska trip, complete with a video of a humpbacked whale.

Afterwards my kids played in the street and I took home a bag of garlic from my parent's garden.

Oh, and BSU won.

Trip to MT

fishing at Cooney

Steve met us with the boat and Tommy and Drake met us later. Liam looked for sea monsters and zombies in the water with a flashlight. He told us you know when there's a sea monster because you will see blood and dead fish in the water. He also was quite proud of the fish count, which ended up being Liam 4, Dad 1, and Steve 1. When Tommy pulled a fish shaped lure out of the water Liam took the opportunity to talk smack.

"Look how small his fish is! I caught big fish but he caught just a small one"

Also I held a leech. It bit me 2x. Then it got used for bait.

Family traditions

For school Liam had to draw a family tradition. I asked him what one he wanted and he said a "robot". I explained what a tradition was, and then asked again. This time he said he wanted "a lunchbox".

So then I have him a list to pick from and he choose gathering eggs at Papa's house.

last hurrah

Liam picked me flowers on our last night in MT. We had dinner at the Quick Stop and ice cream. Dad got vanilla, Liam got strawberry, I got creme de menthe, and Cassia chewed on my cup of water.

Moving day for Squirmy

Liam and I decide that Squirmy could use a bigger cage. Liam made him a salad of leaves, dandelions, pansies, and lettuce. Squirmy seemed happy.

Meet the new rooster

Liam named him Squirmy. He has one tail feather left after a dog encounter. Liam doesn't care and says "hello Squirmy, I love your beautiful tail"

Trip to the park

Liam invented his own game of horse shoes (or as he calls t-shoes"); "you take these t-shoes and set them in a pattern. then you run around the t-shoe pipe. then you jump the fence. them you make up a new pattern". He then made a pattern of XXX OOO XXX and was very upset when I moved one.
