Little known Christmas facts from Liam

Reading "The Night Before Christmas" and we got to the line about Santa having a cherry nose:
Liam: I thought he had a carrot nose
Me: no that's a snowmen
Liam: oh.
Molly: what kind of nose do I have?
Liam: a plum!
Me: what kind of nose does your Dad have?
Liam: a pineapple!

And according to Liam the following people do not celebrate Christmas: the police, people who live in the desert, and anyone with a poisonous green hand.

Its 10pm: how many times has your child thrown up tonight?

Last night Liam got a little sick around 6pm. By a little sick I mean by 10:30 we stopped counting how many times he'd thrown up after 13.  Emergency run to Fred Meyer for 7up still didn't help. He slept on the couch next to a bucket, and surprisingly woke up absolutely fine. I asked him why he had been so sick

"I don't know, but I'm sorry. Sorry I puked"
"you don't have to be sorry for puking"
"I think it was 100 pukes"
"I think you're right"

When you have to feed your friends fish...

You probably aren't feeding this many. Baby betas, plus a 10 gallon tank with more baby betas. And the mom beta. On the plus side, if they all survive Barb and Andy and letting us have one in January when they will be big enough.

aunt Jessie

Liam: What does Aunt Jessie do?
Molly: She's an aeronautical engineer.
Liam: IS THAT A SCIENTIST??
Molly: Yeah
Liam: WOW!

Liam: Um, Aunt Jessie, excuse me!
Jessie: Yes?
Liam: Are you a scientist?
Jessie: Yes
Liam: I'm gonna be a scientist! I'm gonna be all kinds of things! And a bus driver and an artist!

And I think he should.

Just the baby

Playing post-Gingerbread house assembly

the gingerbread house

Sierra and Heidi came over to help us build our gingerbread house. Cassia didn't help with the assembly but ddi enjoy part of the roof.

Santa

We saw Santa, who conveniently is neighbors with my friend Susan. Liam asked only for "a present". Cassia didn't ask for anything. Both enjoyed a post-Santa sugar cookie and Liam had some cocoa.

Liam's oatmeal

Cassai decided to climb up on the couch and help herself to Liam's leftovers.

I love this kid

"look what I made!" Liam brings me a toilet paper tube with a small piece of toilet paper balled up inside "I'm a scientist!"

Liam

He brings a rolled up piece of paper to bed with him and puts it under his pillow. "Good night little trashy thing" he tells it.

Family traditions

For school Liam had to draw a family tradition. I asked him what one he wanted and he said a "robot". I explained what a tradition was, and then asked again. This time he said he wanted "a lunchbox".

So then I have him a list to pick from and he choose gathering eggs at Papa's house.

ROBOT

This is  a picture Liam drew for me.
"Is that blue thing the robot's heart?"
""No, he has a bulldozer in his stomach"
(he looks at me like I am a total idiot then takes the picture away)

Gingerbread train

The three of us went to Heidi and Sierras last night and made a gingerbread train. Liam and Sierra decorated and then decorated cookies. Sierra made a cookie with a smile face, Liam made one with spider eyes.
Cassia had fun too. She got a sugar choke and managed to unwrap and eat half a candy cane before Heidi caught her.
