Yes, we had 3 Easter egg hunts
Grandma Maggie found robot Easter eggs (yes, those exist). Jerad hid them then the kids found them, Cassia was pretty creative in how she held them. Liam gave them different tasks like a digging robot and a violin robot.

Easter Egg Hunt @ UCC
We got there late so both my kids were in with the older kids hunt, but they are nice older kids so it went fine. Liam made a killing, I had to help baby quite a bit but she did get two on her own then walk around like an orangutan.
She ended up just sitting by her basket for most the time (Liam provided his sister with a basket, very nice of him). Barb remarked she looked like "she was laying her own eggs". Cassia also got called "Shortcake" which was funny.
Liam decorated a cookie then we went home.

Egg drop at Liam's school
The kids are learning about eggs this week. Liam had to pick an egg laying animal to do a report on. He picked clown fish. We researched clown fish and decided to leave out the part about them being hermaphroditic. Apparently they switch genders, who knew. We also had to bring a raw egg wrapped up somehow, then drop it off a ladder to see if it would survive. Liam was about the 5th kid to go and had the first egg to not break. The kindergarteners had their 4th grade buddies help and it was pretty cute.
Liam and Durham watch to see if their egg breaks |
