2011 Race for the Cure
Our new bff Rebecca invited us to join her in the race. Her company was sponsoring us, and we planned to meet at my place at 8am and then head to the starting line (Park Center) at 8:30am. We arrived at 9:15am, as I had forgotten about how much time it takes to travel with a small baby. We made it though, walking the 5k in under two hours (again, forgot how slow you go with kids). Cassia was wonderful, slept in her stroller, in my arms, Becky's arms, then the stroller again. Liam walked most the time, but was pretty tired. He stayed off the beaten path, walking though the trees and nearby flowerbeds (to the landscapers who work on Park Center, I am so sorry). Then we all went to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory. I had GF pasta with clam sauce (seafood = yum), Liam downed his spaghetti and meatballs then had spumoni ice cream. It was Becky's first time there, and we all seemed to have fun.

And all went pretty well until Liam decided to pee right then and there, unstopped for about 3 minutes. Not pictured are the 500 people walking by. Somewhere in Oklahoma a Grandma Reva is very proud.
