Like last night when I was in Liam's room reading him "ABCs of Star Wars" and Jerad was relaxing in the livingroom and my dog (Miss Bella) walks in and pukes up green play-doh. She then runs into the livingroom and vomits 4 more times. This leaves us with a dilemma: How do we get this out of our carpet?
It was probably the most disgusting thing we have ever seen, and I will admit that Jerad and I both said our fair share of profane words (in shock, it looked like our house has been under attack by little green men that exploded everywhere). We stood there stunned....play-doh itself is hard enough to remove from carpet, what about this?
So in case anyone else has this problem in the future, we found a solution. After braving the initial clean up (we threw away 2 towels and 3 rags...I was not even going to attempt to wash them) we covered the 5 spots in baking soda then poured on white vinegar. It worked, and our carpet looks OK this morning....we are still renting a steam cleaner asap though.
