What Liam drew for me in first grade

The kids are learning about eggs this week. Liam had to pick an egg laying animal to do a report on. He picked clown fish. We researched clown fish and decided to leave out the part about them being hermaphroditic. Apparently they switch genders, who knew.  We also had to bring a raw egg wrapped up somehow, then drop it off a ladder to see if it would survive. Liam was about the 5th kid to go and had the first egg to not break. The kindergarteners had their 4th grade buddies help and it was pretty cute.

Kindergarten Halloween Party

Cassia went to a friend's house and I volunteered to help with the party. They made spider cookies, and played the "mystery box" game, and played Halloween charades.

Liam: Star Wars shoes, robot shirt, mohawk, and novelty Halloween skeleton glasses. That's my boy.

the bad news is

Grandma Maggie bought Liam some awesome Star Wars Darth Maul shoes. They were red with green eyes and lit up. But, they were almost too small so we went to Dillard's to exchange them. They didn't have the same ones on 10s, so Liam got different ones. They're still Star Wars, so its all good. He liked some flame shoes that were there too but they were also out of 10s. So here are Liam's new school shoes, Star Wars the Clone Wars blue sneakers. He picked out the socks himself.
