Thanks Cassia

For helping me drink/spill my Sonic lemon berry slush and do my homework. Who's idea was it to study in your nursery again? Mine?  Oh.

Guess who has a blog and a new bed?

This girl! We got lucky and found a girl moving from Boise back home to El Paso who wanted to downsize. We got her dresser, frame with drawers, head board, and pillow top king mattress for 200$. Hooray for feeling human again.

Cassia is tired

You can tell because she actually put her head down. Unlike last night when she was up from 2:30 to 4:3.am singing and saying da da...DA dada dada....

My kids have beds. Parents....not yet.

Jerad got Liams bed assembled last night, he loves sleeping up high and his robot bedding. Jerad assembled Cassias crib this morning. The mattes is supposed top be in today.

Molly "Liam look at Cassias new bed."
Liam "That's not perfect. You need to paint it and put pillows in it"

Well he does have a point.

With all the new space in his room Liam made some decorations. His closet is now an art gallery of robot drawings. My favorite one is the swimming robot underwater.

It only took 4 months

But Liam got his new bed! Thank you Jerad for assembling it on your day off. Liam likes it, Cassia as you can see is pretty happy to just play on the floor.

The cauliflower thief

Cassia helps herself to big brothers dinner. Liam (who clearly has a mouth full of food) finds it hilarious.

Liams school birthday

To make everyone feel included, Liams class celebrates every birthday. Since his was before school started, he had his today. He made a birthday book complete with drawings of robots and took suckers and raisons as a snack. He came home wearing this birthday crown.

He also had show and tell. He brought a people centipede.

"did anyone ask you questions about your centipede?"
"yes they ask what his name is"
"what's his name?"
"nothing he's just centipede"

Cassia would like to tell you something

And its "ba ba BA BABA ba....BA!". She was talking about her dad while she ate lunch "da dada DA!". That story got more exciting towards the end. And a forlorn tale about her great auntie "ya...yaaa..ya".

5 year check up

Liam didn't mess around. First thing he tells our nurse its "I don't need any shots. Just a check up". Much to his dismay he actually needed his flu shot...so he got one. Unlike his kindergarten boosters where he got 4. Cassia got get flu shot too, and neither kid cried.  Further influence to be done having kids...pretty sure you can't have more than two and not have one be a screamer.

In other news Cassia its better today and only woke up once last night. Our Labor Day weekend was more crying baby weekend, but she seems to be feeling better....maybe those teeth are finally down enough to not be putting so much pressure on her little mouth.

Cassia is sick and getting top teeth

She woke up Saturday at 4 am with a fever and all weekend I've gotten 3 hours of sleep being up with her. She's miserable as you can see.

Shopping on game day

Baby was a big hit in her hoodie.Liam picked out Boise  State mustard. He played with Sierra for a few hours then came home to watch the game at six. I had made chicken soup because everyone its sick. Liam said he wanted soup so I got a bowl ready and went to watch kick off with him. He was fast asleep, and stayed that way until we picked up Jerad at 8:30. Boise State won, and he at least got to watch the end of the game.

Game day!

Volunteering at Liams school

Cassia was a big with the kids and teachers. She did blow raspberries during the"I am smart and I make good choices speech" though.

Liam introduced me to the class as mama. His teacher asked what his favorite thing about me was and he said "being my best friend". When asked if he knew my full name is he said "yes. It is Mama  McCartney".

He even got to meet his new fourth grade buddies and did a survey with them. I overheard him answer "karate" and "step two is the refrigerator". When he got his buddy he held his hand and said "I love you buddy".

I also took a picture of his ginger bread man. He made his into a monster. Love the wicked unibrow.
